β Is a UnitedHealthcare short-term plan the same as an ACA or Obamacare plan?
No, short-term plans are limited-duration policies, not comprehensive health coverage.
They have fewer benefits and federal protections than Marketplace plans. Also, they do not have to cover all essential health benefits. In addition, they do not count as minimum essential coverage.

β Does a short-term plan count as minimum essential coverage?
